The Nike Zoom Forever XC2 is a super light cross country racing spike designed for distances from 3k to 10k. It is most suited for grass, dirt, and rubber surfaces. It features a waffle traction rubber outsole with four removable spike receptacles.
The feather-light mesh upper provides superior breathability. The low profile Phylon midsole reduces unneeded weight. The Forever XC2 features the Air Zoom heel cushioning technology for extra responsiveness and low profile. Includes eight 5/16″ pyramid spikes, with a spike wrench and two blanks.

The Zoom Forever XC2 is the CURRENT model, released in July 2009. It is offered only in the men’s spike version. (The corresponding flat/spikeless model is the Zoom Streak XC2)

- Waffle Lugs is a full length rubber and thermoplastic blend engineered for claw like traction.
- Pebax Plate is a full length plate sandwiched between the midsole and waffle lugs. This stiff polymer plate is designed for direct power transfer for increased propulsion.
