Brooks Mach 12

The Brooks Mach 12 is a light cross country racer designed for distances from 3k to 10k. The spike version is best suited for grass and asphalt, whereas the flat/spikeless version is suited for dirt, asphalt, wood, and rubber.

Building on the success of the Brooks Mach family, the Mach 12 has been tuned up and made even lighter than its predecessor. The upper provides superior breathability and, thanks to Dynamic Arch Straps, provides a custom fit to keep you locked in during a race. The Mach 12 outsole features an aggressive lug configuration which ensures superior traction on any terrain. Brooks has also added more toe rocker in the forefoot, which assists with propulsion. These cross country running shoes are designed with a 5-spike configuration, which includes a wrench and ten 6mm spikes. It is also available in a flat (spikeless) version.

The Mach 12 comes in both women’s and men’s models. The Brooks Mach 12 is the CURRENT model, released in June 2010.
